About the role
- Serve as project lead for all content deliverables for both simple and complex and/or large healthcare writing projects including, but not limited to, scheduling and leading internal briefings, liaising with internal SMEs, organizing project-specific requirements, and ensuring all information is distributed to the editorial team and implemented within the deliverable.
- Create and assign high-quality, multi-format content including thought leadership, educational articles, executive bylines, case studies, webinars, sales- and customer-facing materials, and website content, ensuring consistency in voice, accuracy, and credibility.
- Ensure assigned content leverages correct grammar, punctuation, spelling and styling following style guidelines as well as established medical writing internal checklists and best practices.
- Research, synthesize, and translate complex clinical, scientific, and healthcare system topics into clear, authoritative narratives that resonate with clinicians, healthcare leaders, and decision-makers across care settings.
- Own the editorial workflow end-to-end, including content planning and publication calendars, briefing and reviewing external contributors, drafting and revising content, and publishing and maintaining content on Creyos.com.
- Collaborate closely with executive leadership, clinical experts, product marketing, Sales, and Customer Success to translate business priorities and market trends into new content concepts, ensuring factual accuracy and supporting enablement and market education.
- Partner with the SEO agency to understand keyword priorities, search intent, and optimization insights, and thoughtfully incorporate them into content without compromising editorial integrity.
- Publish and manage relevant content across Creyos’ owned social channels, adapting core narratives for social formats and maintaining a consistent, professional presence aligned with brand standards.
- Partner with Demand Generation on lead generation and account-based marketing initiatives by supporting the development of campaign-aligned content as required (e.g., gated assets, landing page copy, nurture content etc.) to help source and influence pipeline.
- Maintain and evolve Creyos’ editorial voice and quality standards, ensuring content meets the expectations of clinical and enterprise audiences.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience writing credible healthcare, medical, or science content for professional or clinical audiences, ideally in healthcare, life sciences, or B2B healthtech.
- Bachelor’s or advanced degree in English, Journalism, Life Sciences, or a medical-related field
- Strong journalistic instincts, including the ability to ask probing questions, validate sources, synthesize multiple viewpoints, and develop original, well-supported perspectives with clarity, accuracy, for diverse audiences
- Strong knowledge of AMA style and industry regulations
- Proven ability to research, interpret, and clearly communicate complex clinical, scientific, or healthcare system topics with accuracy and nuance.
- Experience producing and managing content across multiple formats, including long-form articles, web content, video, and sales- or customer-facing materials.
- Working knowledge of content operations, including publication calendars, contributor briefing and review, and CMS publishing.
- Familiarity with SEO/AEO and adapting content for owned channels, including social.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills and comfort working with subject-matter experts and senior stakeholders, both internally and externally.
