About the role
- Write, edit, and format safety manuals, policies, procedures, and guidance documents.
- Refresh and revise existing documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with current OSHA/HSE standards.
- Draft materials for construction site safety meetings and toolbox talks.
- Prepare clear, concise summaries and follow-ups from safety meetings and client engagements.
- Incorporate regulatory requirements and best practices into content by researching OSHA and industry standards.
- Ensure all documents are delivered with exceptional attention to detail, accurate technical information, consistent terminology, and proper formatting.
- Collaborate with subject-matter experts to validate technical content.
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects concurrently while meeting deadlines.
- Track deliverables to ensure timely completion with minimal revision cycles.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer, preferably with safety, compliance, or industrial content.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce error-free documentation.
- High level of accountability and demonstrated ability to reliably meet deadlines.
- Comfortable multitasking and managing shifting priorities.
- Preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- OSHA 30-Hour Training Certification or equivalent safety training experience.
- Experience writing safety manuals, compliance documentation, or construction-focused materials.
- Familiarity with contractor compliance platforms and requirements.
- Experience working with subject matter experts and translating technical language into clear, user-friendly content.
