Prepare U.S. federal and state individual income tax returns (Form 1040) for high-net worth individuals, business owners, and expatriates
Complete supporting forms and schedules (e.g., Schedules A, B, C, D, E, 1116, 2555, 8938, FBAR/FinCEN 114)
Review tax documentation provided by clients and organize workpapers
Perform basic tax research and apply appropriate tax treatments
Ensure returns comply with IRS regulations and client-specific instructions
Collaborate with seniors and managers for review and feedback
Meet internal deadlines and productivity targets during peak tax season
Maintain data confidentiality and ensure quality control
Use tax software such as CCH Axcess, UltraTax, ProSystem fx, or similar
Requirements
2–3 years of experience in U.S. Individual Tax return preparation (Form 1040)
Familiarity with IRS forms and instructions relevant to personal taxation (Forms 1040, 1041; Schedules A, B, C, D, E; 1116; 2555; 8938; FBAR/FinCEN 114)
Working knowledge of U.S. tax software tools (CCH Axcess, UltraTax, ProSystem fx, SurePrep, etc.)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple assignments and meet tight deadlines
Experience in tax research and applying appropriate tax treatments
Preferred: Experience working in a Big 4, mid-sized CPA firm, or offshore delivery center supporting U.S. clients
Preferred: Knowledge of international tax disclosures and U.S. expat tax, state tax differences, and foreign income reporting
