About the role
- Support the preparation, analysis and submission of regulatory reports to various constituencies (local regulators, U.S. Federal Reserve, OCC, etc.)
- Focus on data quality and regulatory interpretation issue evaluation and disposition for issues impacting FR Y-9C, Call Report, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15
- Support the production, review and timely submission of regulatory filings and reports to U.S. regulators
- Monitor and manage key metrics associated with reports
- Support implementation of processes and controls to mitigate risk of inaccurate reporting
- Collaborate with teams to resolve discrepancies and drive process improvements
- Provide support during regulatory inquiries and examinations
- Partner with senior stakeholders across the firm including Risk, Finance, Audit
- Work with peers and program leaders on implementation of U.S. regulatory changes
- Partner with Risk & Controls team to maintain and enhance internal control structure
Requirements
- 6-10+ years of extensive experience within the financial services industry and regulatory reporting
- Intermediate knowledge of U.S. regulatory reports such as FR Y-9C, Call Report, FFIEC 009, FR Y-15
- Exposure to Basel III capital regulations, GAAP/SEC Reporting and stress testing frameworks like CCAR
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- Strong technical problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and tasks in a complex and dynamic environment
- Bachelor's/University degree in Finance, Accounting or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
