Mechanical Engineer

• The Design Engineer (DE) shall be a member of a project engineering team responsible for completing assigned tasks within the allotted schedule and cost constraints.
• The Design Engineer shall report directly to the Manager of the Engineering Department, who is responsible for managing the engineering and design schedules and supervising team members.
• The Design Engineer shall be fully capable and willing to perform all tasks assigned by the Manager of the Engineering Department.
• The Design Engineer shall be the single person on the Engineering and Design Team who is responsible and accountable for all aspects related to the structural and physical substation design of the project.
• The engineer is expected to be knowledgeable in all aspects of substation design, including structural steel, foundations, rigid and flexible bus design, substation layout, electrical clearance and safety requirements, and equipment functions and their purpose.
• The engineer assigned to perform the structural calculations on a project is expected to follow the project throughout the design process, supporting the design team and providing technical advice.
• The engineer shall provide guidance, direction, instruction, and leadership to the design team pertaining to technical issues.
• The main objectives for the design engineer shall be 0 Errors, 0 Missed Commitments, and efficient production.

Structural Design Engineer

Project Manager

• Provides overall leadership and oversight to the project team and their activities.
• Manages project schedules and maintains overall project scope of work.
• Identifies all stakeholders and manages their expectations and concerns.
• Manages project budget and resource allocation, including the management of costs, through the review and approval of procurement activities, POs, change orders and invoicing.
• Constantly monitors and reports on progress of the project
• Defines project objectives and plans their completion; then as needed implements project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
• Encourages and motivates internal and external teams to keep project, and related activities, on schedule and on budget.
• Manages consultants, subcontractors, construction managers and project teams to ensure contract plan specifications are adhered to.
• Manages procurement process for equipment and materials.
• Utilizes strong communication skills to work with teams and stakeholders to complete tasks and overcome objections.
• Must be able to work with confidential information and insure the security of this information.
• Hosts, attends and participates in project meetings and conferences calls.
• Prepare RFQ for subcontractor bids. Evaluate bids.
• The Project Manager is responsible for carrying out additional responsibilities as requested by the Director of Project Management.
• Interfaces with other department employees and customers on a regular basis.
• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
• Reviews all engineering and construction drawings for approval.
• Performs close out of projects.
• Analyzes project disciplines and develops corrective action plans to mitigate problems; then gathers and organizes all lessons learned to be used on future projects.
• Modifies purchase orders to meet project needs.
• Utilizes scheduling tools and makes modifications to construction schedules relevant to status and by requests from Director of Project Management.

Electrical Engineer

• Designs new and interprets new and existing one-lines, panel elevations, AC\DC\Communication schematics, relay panel wiring diagrams and equipment wiring diagrams
• Performs and checks battery sizing calculations
• Writes and checks material list descriptions for electrical equipment
• Checks drawings for conduit, grounding, control buildings, electrical arrangements, outdoor lighting and equipment manufacturing.
• Reviews test reports, relay settings, coordination studies and load flow studies
• Demonstrates integrity and ethics in all client relationships and communications
• Answers technical questions posed by construction managers, field staff, project managers, customers and their representatives
• Recognizes and recommends methods to improve every customer’s experience
• Performs other studies (short circuit, load flow, cable ampacity, etc.) as able and required
• Travels periodically to both customer offices for project meetings and to job sites for construction visits and testing
• Manages day-to-day activities of schedule and design of projects assigned to them
• Coordinates and problem solves between design teams and departments

Senior Electrical Engineer

Civil Engineer

• Oversee all engineering responsibilities and activities.
• Delegates engineering responsibilities and activities within their team.
• Leads the design and checking processes.
• Manages the day-to-day activities of schedule and design.
• Directly trains and directs CEs and CETs assigned to their team.
• Maintains design standards and training guidelines.
• Coordinates and problem solves issues between design teams and departments.
• Answers technical questions posed by construction managers, field staff, customers and their representatives.
• Recognizes and recommends methods to improve every customer’s experience.
• Travels periodically to both customer offices for project meetings and to job sites for construction visits.

Civil Structural Engineer – Team Lead

Business Development Rep

• The Business Development Manager is responsible for development and profitable growth of the industrial products portfolio.
• The BDM is responsible for growing the company’s customer base, increasing penetration of existing accounts, identifying new market opportunities, increasing the company’s brand awareness, relationship development, execution of sales, sales strategy development and implementation, business planning and weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting of business development activities to executive management.
• The BDM is also responsible for the coordination of resources and leveraging existing relationships (internal and external) to create new business opportunities that achieve the desired results.
• Responsible for researching and developing written plans of action to develop prospective customers through the execution of a successful sales strategy.
• This position is responsible for driving sales and achieving profitable growth that contributes to the success of the overall Distribution Platform.
