• The People & Culture Assistant offers a friendly and supportive first point of contact for members of our team with HR related inquiries, as well as for candidates interested in joining our organization.
• Provide empathetic, professional, and helpful support in a timely manner.
• Instrumental part of the external recruitment process, posting opportunities as they come available, screening applications.
• Coordinate selection and onboarding activities, creating profiles for new hires in HRIS (BambooHR) and benefits platforms.
• Update records for existing team members, approve leave requests, and answer inquiries about policies, procedures, or benefits offerings.
• Support ongoing processes such as recognition activities, annual performance reviews, code of conduct sign-offs, and engagement surveys.
• Participate in organizing events, celebrations, and activities that help to make this a Great Place to Work.

People & Culture Administrative Assistant

• Assess clients’ financial situations, helping them gain a clear understanding of their income, expenses, and debt obligations.
• Provide personalized options and strategies to help them effectively manage and resolve their debts.
• In some cases, offer ongoing support through a Debt Management Program, which enables clients to pay off their debts with interest relief.
• Serve as a trusted resource, answering questions and following up to ensure clients stay on track toward financial stability.

Content Marketing Manager

• Create and appear in videos and social media content that represent the work of CCS.
• Use graphic design, video editing, and content creation skills to create engaging content.
• Collaborate with other members of the Marketing & Community Engagement team.
• Support awareness of the organization and its impact.

Content Creation Specialist

Communications

• The Communication Specialist is the ‘voice’ of CCS, putting into words the great work that we do in a way that resonates with Canadians.
• Create compelling written collateral in the form of blog articles, media pitches, press releases, brochures, presentations, video scripts, and social media posts to increase awareness, consumer interaction, and knowledge, consistent with our overall marketing and awareness strategy.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the Marketing & Community Engagement team.
