About the role
- Provide responsive technical support to end users across the firm
- Diagnose and resolve desktop, laptop, printer, and basic network issues
- Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, software, and peripherals
- Monitor and maintain computer systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Troubleshoot domain logins, user access, and common operating system issues
- Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts and equipment during onboarding and offboarding
- Repair, replace, and coordinate warranty service for IT equipment as needed
- Evaluate and test new technologies and tools for potential firm‑wide use
- Create and maintain internal IT documentation, including SOPs, checklists, and equipment inventories
- Escalate complex issues as appropriate and work collaboratively with the IT team
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in CIS, MIS, IT, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience)
- Strong customer‑service mindset with professional and courteous communication skills
- Excellent troubleshooting, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond promptly in a fast‑paced environment
- Working knowledge of Windows operating systems and common business applications
- Self‑motivated, resourceful, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Willingness to learn new technologies and contribute to the growth of CMT’s IT capabilities
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
- Availability to work occasional weekends or non‑traditional hours, as required
