About the role
- Provide group and individual therapy for clients with addiction and co-occurring disorders
- Lead assessments and service plan updates
- Create tailored care plans for new clients addressing substance use and mental health challenges
- Collaborate with clinical staff, peer coaches, and community partners to ensure holistic care
- Lead or participate in IOP sessions in morning, afternoon and evening (flexible shifts)
- Work on-site in Colorado Springs as a full-time (40 hours per week) Addiction Counselor at Hazelbrook Sober Living
Requirements
- 2 - 5 years post-grad work experience
- Valid Colorado practice license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, LAC)
- Must be registered with DORA
- Strong communication, dependability, tech-savvy, flexibility, team player
- For candidates in recovery, a minimum of 3 years of abstinence is required
- Skilled in assessment, treatment planning, and goal re-evaluation across various care levels
- Prior work with substance use disorder clients, IOP preferred (Nice to Have)
- Masters in a behavioral health field (Nice to Have)
