About the role

  • Design, build, and maintain workflow driven integrations across multiple systems and environments
  • Work closely with technical and non technical stakeholders to translate manual or fragmented processes into resilient, well documented automated workflows that scale with the business

Requirements

  • 5 + years of experience building and maintaining production grade automation or integration systems
  • Advanced experience with workflow automation platforms such as n8n, Zapier, Make, or similar node based tools
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScript, including custom scripting inside automation workflows
  • Deep experience designing, consuming, and troubleshooting REST APIs
  • Strong comfort working with JSON, complex data transformations, and cross system mappings
  • Solid working knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts
  • Experience using Git for version control, collaboration, and change tracking
  • Proven experience working in hybrid cloud environments, integrating cloud services with on prem systems
  • Hands on experience running automation platforms in Docker or containerized environments
  • Comfortable with Linux administration in production or near production systems
  • Strong understanding of secrets management, credential rotation, and secure configuration practices
  • Practical knowledge of networking fundamentals, including VPNs, firewalls, webhooks, and secure endpoints
  • Experience with iPaaS or ETL platforms and large scale data movement (Highly Valued)
  • Strong understanding of OAuth2 and modern authentication flows (Highly Valued)
  • Ability to design resilient workflows with error handling, retries, fallbacks, and idempotency (Highly Valued)
  • Experience implementing monitoring and alerting for workflow failures and performance issues (Highly Valued)
  • Excellent documentation discipline, creating clear technical and functional documentation for long term ownership (Highly Valued)
  • Strong business process analysis skills, able to identify inefficiencies and propose automation opportunities
  • Excellent stakeholder communication, especially when working with non technical teams
  • Systems thinker who understands downstream impacts and dependency chains
  • Ownership mindset, you build it, you document it, you support it
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity and shaping standards where none exist
