About the role
- Coordinate translation project activities among appropriate external resources
- Provide support for associate project managers & project managers in managing large scale projects
- Analysis of projects using translation memory software
- Support cost estimate analysis and preparation
- Development of efficient workflows
- Oversee the use and maintenance of tools such as translation memories, style guides, and glossaries
- Preparation of files to be translated or placement of projects or negotiation of budgets and schedules with freelance translators
- Assisted supervision of the full life cycle of translation projects according to client parameters
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date administrative tasks and reporting
Requirements
- Minimum 1–2-year translation industry experience including use of translation tools
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Positive attitude and a true team player
- Tech savvy, able to juggle multiple tasks under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to develop budgets and schedules
- Energetic self-starter with initiative and creative approach to problem solving
- Strong computer skills including MS Office and Internet applications
- Commitment to professional customer service
- Fluency in English and preferably a second language
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution
