About the role

  • Successful candidates will bring strong consulting capability across all phases of the delivery lifecycle.
  • Requirement Definition – working with clients to capture and challenge requirements, ensuring feasibility and alignment to platform capabilities.
  • Solution Design – designing CE, Power Platform and Project Operations capabilities, including project planning, resource assignments, time, expense, project cost and revenue scenarios.
  • Configuration – implementing agreed requirements within the solution.
  • Test Management – reviewing configuration, supporting client testing and ensuring solutions meet quality expectations.
  • Process Design and Mapping – documenting and designing business processes, including project delivery and project accounting workflows.
  • Awareness Presentations & Workshops – helping clients understand solution capabilities and prepare for adoption.
  • Training Preparation & Delivery – designing and delivering targeted, hands‑on training sessions.
  • Data Migration Support – guiding clients through data preparation and migration approaches.
  • Mentoring and Support – enabling client teams to become self‑sufficient and confident users of D365 and the Power Platform.

Requirements

  • Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365, focusing on Dynamics 365 CE and the wider Power Platform, with experience in Dynamics 365 Project Operations (ProjOps).
  • Experience delivering or supporting project‑centric business solutions such as project planning, resource scheduling, time and expense, utilisation or project financials.
  • Excellent consultative skills and the ability to influence and communicate with stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • A self‑starter with a ‘make it happen’ attitude and a desire to grow both personal and organisational capability.
  • Proven commercial awareness, able to recognise and develop new opportunities while engaging with clients.
  • Ability to support presales activity including estimations and solution shaping.
  • Strong personal time management skills ensuring work is delivered to scope, quality and budget expectations.
  • Experience delivering Microsoft‑based solutions with consideration for adoption, sustainability and strategic alignment.
  • A commitment to ensuring clients are delighted with the services they receive.
  • Broad understanding of solution delivery patterns, practices and application lifecycle management across design, configuration, testing, release and support.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE.
  • Experience with the Power Platform including Power BI, Power Apps (canvas and model‑driven), Power Automate and Power Pages.
  • Experience with, or strong interest in learning, Dynamics 365 Project Operations or other project‑based ERP/PSA systems.
  • A understanding of other Microsoft based PPM Solution eg Planner Premium
  • 5+ years’ experience in a consulting role delivering CRM or related business applications.
  • Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving capability.
  • Proven experience of full project lifecycle delivery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead small project teams.
  • Evidence of career progression and continuous learning.
  • Ability to demonstrate technical capability through questioning and assessment.

  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Functional Consultant Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals
  • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Customer Experience Analyst Associate
  • Desirable Microsoft Applied Skills include:
  • Create and Manage Automated Processes using Power Automate
  • Create and Manage Canvas Apps with Power Apps
  • Create and Manage Model‑Driven Apps with Power Apps and Dataverse
  • Project‑related Applied Skills (e.g. resource scheduling, project financials, project governance)
  • Any Azure Applied Skills
  • Any Copilot Studio or AI Applied Skills
