About the role
- Overall technical responsibility for the property
- Ensuring smooth technical operations, including operator responsibility
- Management, quality assurance and continuous development of facility management (FM) service providers
- Planning and implementation of refurbishment and modernization projects
- Support for construction works and technical optimizations
- Project and stakeholder management
- Central interface between tenants, service providers and internal departments
- Monitoring of schedules, budgets and quality standards
- Technical reporting and asset preservation
- Monitoring technical KPIs, energy consumption and maintenance strategies
- Continuous development of the property in line with the asset strategy
- Warranty and defect management
- Documentation, tracking and consistent resolution of defects
Requirements
- Completed technical training or degree (e.g., Civil Engineering, Building Services/Technical Building Equipment (TGA), Real Estate Management) or demonstrable professional experience
- Several years of professional experience in technical property management, construction or interior fit-out, or demonstrable relevant experience
- Good knowledge of technical trades, construction processes and FM management
- Confident handling of budgets, construction processes and vendor/service provider management
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and a structured way of working
- Enjoyment in managing and continuously developing a demanding property over the long term
