About the role

  • Support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting
  • Ensure robust compliance with UK and US statutory requirements
  • Lead the preparation and review of monthly accounting entries
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly financial results
  • Prepare and review UK statutory accounts
  • Oversee quarterly VAT returns and monthly VAT accounting
  • Coordinate Companies House filings and other statutory submissions
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Maintain and strengthen the financial control environment
  • Drive process improvements using technology and data insights
  • Manage weekly cash flow forecasting and submissions to Group Treasury

Requirements

  • Fully Qualified Accountant: ACA/CA or ACCA
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance department or accountancy practice
  • Graduate-level education or strong A-Level (or equivalent) achievement
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Ability to analyse large data sets and high volumes of transactions
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle is beneficial
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work confidently across teams and with senior stakeholders.
