• Price Allied Healthcare accounts with competitive terms quickly, thoughtfully, and in accordance with our guidelines, demonstrating a deep understanding of healthcare practitioner exposures and risk dynamics.
• Manage quote-related communication and questions in a thoughtful and trusting manner, serving as an underwriting resource to brokers on Allied Healthcare coverage nuances.
• Collaborate with the Director, Allied Healthcare Liability and the broader underwriting team of Risk Engineers on understanding the unique exposures of complex Allied Healthcare accounts.
• Provide market feedback and recommend improvements to our Allied Healthcare terms, rates, guidelines, coverage structures, and policy forms to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
• Support the development of underwriting guidelines, decision trees, and rating logic specific to Allied Healthcare classes in partnership with the product and data teams.
• Bind accounts through the continuous engagement of your assigned brokers, maximizing quote-to-bind efficiency across the Allied Healthcare portfolio.
• Represent Counterpart at broker meetings and various industry events, positioning the company as a thought leader in Allied Healthcare Professional Liability.
• Contribute ideas and feedback on our suite of tools and services as a key stakeholder of our product roadmap, helping to shape digital workflows and automation for Allied Healthcare underwriting.

Production Risk Engineer – Allied Health

• Achieve and exceed underwriting performance and revenue goals for the Lawyers Professional Liability segment, underwriting in accordance with our stated procedures.
• Price LPL accounts with competitive terms quickly, thoughtfully, and in accordance with our guidelines, demonstrating a deep understanding of law firm exposures, practice area dynamics, and risk profiles.
• Manage quote-related communication and questions in a thoughtful and trusting manner, serving as an underwriting resource to brokers on LPL coverage nuances.
• Collaborate with the Director, Lawyers Professional Liability and the broader underwriting team of Risk Engineers on understanding the unique exposures of complex LPL accounts.
• Provide market feedback and recommend improvements to our LPL terms, rates, guidelines, coverage structures, and policy forms to maintain competitiveness and profitability.
• Support the development of underwriting guidelines, decision trees, and rating logic specific to LPL classes in partnership with the product and data teams.

Production Risk Engineer – Lawyers Professional Liability

DevOps Engineer

• Own the organization's security posture. Define, implement, and maintain the controls, policies, and practices that keep Counterpart secure across human and agentic interactions.
• Own our SOC 2 Type 2 and HIPAA compliance programs. Manage and automate audits, maintain evidence, and extend our compliance posture as the business and the threat surface grow.
• Stay ahead of emerging threats and regulations. Continuously evaluate our security posture against new attack vectors, including data poisoning, adversarial inputs, and agent hijacking. Track how AI security standards and regulatory requirements are evolving and get ahead of them before they become mandatory.
• Own IT operations end-to-end, from onboarding to offboarding. Manage and automate device procurement and provisioning, access controls, identity management, and the internal tooling stack.
• Own platform infrastructure security as a hands-on member of the DevOps team.
• Build and maintain sandbox architecture that allows safe experimentation without risking production systems.
• Design and implement secure environments for AI agent workloads, including trust boundaries, defenses against prompt injection, data exfiltration, and other unexpected behaviors.
