About the role

  • Counsel’s mission: multiply the world's healthcare capacity and build the first fully-vertical, AI-native medical group.
  • Senior Software Engineer role owning product and shaping the engineering organization; remote with hybrid expectation for NY/Boston.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, clinical, and commercial teams and partner healthcare organizations nationwide.
  • Build across full-stack web development, data infrastructure, mobile, and AI/MLOps.
  • Lead initiatives to ship AI-enabled care experiences, integrate ML research into product, scale backend systems, improve physician-facing platforms, and build enterprise EMR and claims integrations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of building production software experience, ideally with 2+ years at startups or growth companies
  • Proficiency in React, NextJs, Node.js (Typescript), React Native, Postgres, AWS, Terraform, Redis
  • Experience building at scale, serving hundreds of thousands of end-users and large enterprise clients
  • Opinionated about up-leveling your own engineering skills and the team around you
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and recent AI developments.
