About the role
- Conduct initial screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications, fit, and alignment with the Institute's values and requirements. Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
- Create and post job advertisements on relevant platforms to attract qualified applicants. Ensure job descriptions are accurate, compelling, and aligned with the Institute’s branding.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring an excellent candidate experience and maintaining clear, consistent communication.
- Work closely with talent acquisition and on-campus leadership to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies. Provide insights and recommendations based on market trends and candidate feedback.
- Engage in improvement projects and initiatives to contribute to the attainment of department and corporate objectives.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of candidate interactions and recruitment activities in Greenhouse ATS. Generate reports and analyze data to track recruitment metrics and identify areas for improvement.
- Assist in the onboarding process by coordinating with HR and hiring managers to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and Institute policies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Must have 2+ years of hands-on experience specifically with Greenhouse applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Strong understanding of recruitment processes, candidate sourcing techniques, and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates and stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to providing an excellent candidate experience.
- Experience in the aviation industry or technical education sector is a plus
