About the role
- Create and design architectural plans for residential and commercial properties
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and project managers to ensure that projects are completed to the highest possible standard
- Coordinate with other architects and designers to ensure that projects meet company standards
- Understand building codes and regulations to ensure compliance is met
- Review and evaluate project progress to ensure that it meets the approved design
- Present design proposals to clients, project managers and company executives
- Estimate project costs and set project timelines to ensure completion of projects within budget and deadlines
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in architectural design
- Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
- In-depth knowledge of UK building codes and regulations
- Ability to work independently and manage projects remotely
- Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Proven ability to meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
