About the role

  • Provide technical construction engineering leadership
  • Management oversight, coordination, and supervision of key project support functions
  • Deliver close technical support to the construction management teams
  • Resolution of site technical queries

Requirements

  • +10 years of applicable experience
  • Experience of EPC / EPCm contracts across the Teesside industrial complex including Wilton and North Tees
  • Detailed experience of onsite Construction Management including safe delivery, to time, quality and budget
  • Detailed working knowledge and application of CDM 2015
  • Track record in conducting Readiness Reviews, Constructability Workshops and Construction Hazard recognition processes
  • Detailed knowledge of Safe Systems of Work
  • Broad understanding of UK regulatory framework, Construction engineering principles, industry best practice and construction techniques
  • Chartered Eng. Status, BTEC (Higher) or equivalent
  • Technical welding (CSWIP or similar)
  • NEBOSH general Certificate or IOSH Managing Safely
  • Applicable trade discipline background
  • Microsoft software packages
