About the role

  • Lead, manage, and develop the marketing team including Brand, Social Media & Influencer, PR and Design across the DACH region, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
  • Mentor and guide team members to ensure their professional growth and align their contributions with the overall business strategy.
  • Develop and execute tailored marketing strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement within the DACH region.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) that are specific to the DACH market, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve performance.
  • Enhance brand recognition and loyalty within the DACH demographic through targeted campaigns and outreach efforts.
  • Conduct and evaluate market studies to make informed decisions and adapt strategies for the DACH region.
  • Strengthen collaboration between the local team and the international marketing team, ensuring alignment in goals and communication.
  • Possess a strong understanding of how different marketing channels (digital, retail media, print, social media, etc.) work in the DACH region and how to leverage them effectively.
  • Apply strategic thinking to anticipate market trends, challenges and opportunities, ensuring long term success in the region.
  • Partner with local agencies and freelancers to execute localized campaigns and initiatives effectively.
  • Implement training and development programs to upskill the marketing team, ensuring continuous improvement in marketing practices and team performance.
  • Execute global initiatives and adapt them to local market.

Requirements

  • Beyond 2 years of leadership experience in leading several marketing teams and developing comprehensive marketing strategies for the DACH region or similar markets.
  • Strong understanding of FMCG market, retail industry, media planning and digital marketing.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and collaborate with diverse teams across different markets.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to track performance metrics and make data-driven decisions.
  • Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns and working in agile environments.
  • Creativity, proactivity, and the ability to innovate in fast-paced settings.
  • Familiarity with KPIs and performance metrics related to sales-driven marketing campaigns.
