About the role
- Assist in the month-end close process, prepare reports and other accounting processes as assigned by manager.
- Analyzing financial data to identify trends and discrepancies and assist in generating reports.
- Conduct and participate in discussions with finance and cross functional teams.
- Research externally available resources like accounting guidance and industry reference materials.
- Prepare an Inventory Reserve Calculation
- Provide Commentary on net sales for one Monthly Presentation
- Work with Accounts Receivable team to match remittances with open receivables
- Utilize Power Query to streamline reconciliation processes
Requirements
- Educational Major Preferred: Accounting
- Experience/Skills Preferred: Analytical skills, communication skills, report writing skills, MS Excel
