About the role
- Deliver direct client counseling services to families, couples, and children
- Utilize therapeutic approaches tailored to the needs of the client
- Attend to relational ethics in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers
- Maintain documentation and communication in line with legal and ethical standards
- Team members must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information
Requirements
- Master’s degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field
- Current and unrestricted license and/or certification to practice within your clinical domain
- Knowledgeable in a variety of empirically supported psychotherapy treatment approaches including cognitive and behavioral, postmodern/post-structural, social-constructionism, and narrative therapy
- Commitment to providing exceptional client care and using client feedback to improve care
- 1 year or more of experience working with children or families with developmental differences
