About the role
- You are responsible for the safety of personnel, assets and the site by ensuring risk prevention, site security and the management of emergency situations.
- You implement and enforce safety rules, procedures and measures.
- You coordinate contractors and service providers and maintain relations with the competent authorities.
- You ensure regulatory compliance, incident follow-up and the continuous improvement of the site's safety level.
- You define safety objectives with operational managers and monitor their progress.
- You work closely with site teams, production, logistics, subcontractors and visitors to maintain an effective safety culture.
- You ensure the monitoring and implementation of safety standards.
Requirements
- Master's degree.
- Degree in safety or occupational health, industrial hygiene or environmental sciences.
- OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification (or equivalent regulatory training).
- Professional EHS&S certifications (e.g., CSP, STS, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years' experience in safety within an industrial environment.
- Proven experience in team management.
- Excellent command of English and French.
