About the role

  • Oversee all aspects of projects and post-project implementation support
  • Accountable for delivering small to large-scale projects through the full lifecycle, from requirements to deployment/completion using appropriate analytical and project management tools and techniques
  • Responsible for setting deadlines, assigning duties, monitoring and summarizing progress of projects
  • Lead and direct the work of others
  • Utilize a wide degree of creativity and latitude to support diverse project/implementation set of deliverables
  • Collaborate with leadership to plan, execute, and accomplish goals
  • Work cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization to execute projects on-time and within budget
  • Ensure post-implementation support and adoption is maintained for overall success
  • Lead small to large-scale project teams through the full project lifecycle
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage multiple priorities and provide work direction for small to large-scale project teams
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with senior business unit management, business partners, project sponsors
  • Participate in change management and process improvement initiatives
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Report and escalate to management as needed
  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks
  • Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or related field
  • 15 years of Project Management experience, preferably in delivering Technology solutions to business units
  • Prefer 10 years in the Mortgage Industry such as Closing, Compliance, and/or Origination
  • Proven work experience in project/implementation management
  • Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Business analysis and documentation skills, including demonstrated use of common business analysis tools and techniques
  • Prefer strong computer skills with tools like MS Visio and Atlassian's JIRA and Confluence products
  • Demonstrate ability to effectively present statuses, challenges, and recommended solutions
  • Demonstrate ability to engage and manage multiple project initiatives simultaneously
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer.
