About the role

  • Performing advanced field diagnostics, repairs, and installations of windows and doors
  • Lead multi-technician jobs, conduct water tests, and handle escalated warranty concerns
  • Perform basic repairs, inspections, safety compliance, inventory, vehicle operation, and customer service
  • Demonstrate expertise in multiple window types and door systems, including repair and replacement techniques
  • Work with different window and door materials with proper techniques and care
  • Utilize a range of tools such as drills, sealants, and power tools with proficiency
  • Perform diagnostics and provide technical support via phone and email
  • Conduct water tests according to company protocols
  • Apply knowledge of window and door installation practices
  • Organize and coordinate jobs requiring multi-technician collaboration
  • Deescalate warranty or service concerns professionally
  • Maintain relationships with customers and sales teams through clear communication and accurate documentation
  • Expand and apply knowledge of company products and industry standards

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • AAMA Installation Training certification preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with ability to successfully clear an MVR check
  • 3–5 years of general construction or building material installation experience preferred
  • 3–5 years of fenestration manufacturing or installation experience preferred
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools
  • Ability to complete advanced diagnostics, repairs, and documentation
  • Strong understanding of installation practices for windows and doors
