About the role
- Compare work across sites and teams to identify risks, gaps, or inconsistencies and make recommendations that improve operational efficiency
- Influence outcomes by applying structured thinking, sound judgment, and close partnership with subject matter experts
- Ensure operational practices are clearly defined, well understood, and ready to scale
- Leverage modern tooling, including AI and LLM-based workflows, to accelerate analysis, synthesis, and enablement, with final outputs validated through real-world operational expertise
- Support physical security, regulatory, compliance, and audit readiness through procedural documentation
- Develop and maintain SOPs, runbooks, and guidelines where documentation is the appropriate enablement mechanism
- Support onboarding and training programs by contributing accurate operational content and education materials
- Identify and support other enablement approaches, including training sessions or knowledge-sharing programs, as appropriate
- Partner with subject matter experts to validate enablement materials and proposed improvements
- Ensure operational practices and enablement materials support safety, physical security, regulatory, and audit requirements
Requirements
- 3-5+ years writing technical documentation, preferably in data center, infrastructure, or operations environments
- Strong track record creating SOPs, runbooks, or operational procedures for technical teams
- Ability to work with SMEs to extract, clarify, and document complex technical processes
- Attention to detail and ability to recognize nuances while maintaining focus on the big picture
- Experience with documentation frameworks, version control, and content management systems
- Understanding of compliance, safety, and audit requirements in operational documentation
