About the role
- Lead the development of Data and AI strategies and roadmaps, aligning technology solutions with business goals and objectives
- Design and architect advanced Azure solutions, integrating various Data and AI technologies
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams, ensuring best practices in development and deployment
- Oversee integration of Data and AI solutions with existing systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data flow
- Design and implement data architectures supporting AI solutions, ensuring data quality and security
- Partner with Project Managers to manage projects from inception to completion
- Mentor and coach team members, fostering continuous learning and innovation
- Collaborate with peers to architect and implement Azure solutions that meet customer objectives
- Assist with development or improvement of deployment solution architecture and standards
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a technical environment (Azure preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years in Azure solution development and architecture
- Expertise in architecting and implementing Azure data technologies (Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, Azure Synapse, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Postgres, Azure Databricks)
- Knowledge of AI technologies, including Azure AI Services and OpenAI models
- Python programming experience for Data and AI solutions
- Advanced knowledge of data management concepts (ETL processes, data warehousing, data lake design)
- Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with experience developing AI solutions
- Strong solution consulting experience and customer-facing consultative skills
- Familiarity with Azure networking and security requirements
- Familiarity with Azure Machine Learning Studio and Cognitive Services
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results on time
- Experience with Azure DevOps for source control
