About the role

  • Design and evolve enterprise-grade ontologies and knowledge graphs focused on privacy and compliance
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into actionable semantic models
  • Define validation rules and constraints aligned with audit and compliance standards
  • Architect ingestion patterns integrating multiple source systems
  • Write and optimize advanced SPARQL queries
  • Implement reasoning, inference, and performance tuning within graph databases
  • Manage ontology lifecycle, including versioning and change management
  • Ensure semantic models are consumable by dashboards (Power BI), APIs, web applications, and audit exports
  • Partner cross-functionally with product, engineering, and data teams to deliver scalable solutions

Requirements

  • 10+ years of total IT experience
  • 8+ years of business consulting experience
  • 10+ years designing and evolving enterprise ontologies or knowledge graphs
  • Strong hands-on expertise in: RDF, OWL, SHACL, Advanced SPARQL query writing and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Stardog (preferred) or GraphDB / Blazegraph / Neptune
  • Experience managing ontology versioning, lifecycle governance, and change control
  • Proven ability to align semantic models with regulatory and audit requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
