About the role

  • Develop, recommend and execute procurement strategies
  • Oversee the indirect sourcing of materials and services within North American operations sites
  • Partner with, and communicate regularly, with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and negotiate contracts
  • Identify and implement cost savings opportunities
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, economics, engineering, food industry or related disciplines
  • 6+ years’ experience in procurement/supply chain function within consumer packaged goods or food industry
  • Advanced skillset including time management, prioritization
  • Strong communication skills with ability to understand/communicate/present complex procurement strategies
  • Detailed understanding of Source to Pay tools (SAP) with advanced literacy in all Microsoft applications
