About the role

  • developing and executing the business development plan and projects with support of sales and other functions
  • closely collaborate with product management, supply chain, marketing and other functions, to translate the market needs into product solutions
  • Translate aquaculture strategy into global business development plan for the aquaculture segment and execute plan with the regions
  • identify market trends and sustainable market opportunities to further develop business in collaboration with the regions
  • drive and manage pipeline of new opportunities with regional sales to materialize on the business objectives
  • gather market and competitive information to support the regional and global strategy
  • develop innovative strategies for aquaculture (business case, recommendations)
  • work with R&D, technical managers and product team to develop solutions portfolio for the market
  • translate customer and market needs to products and solutions in close cooperation with product management, technical management and R&D
  • develop value propositions for new product market combinations, supported by the technical and nutrition team and trials
  • develop and roll out route to market for new segment/territories in coordination with sales, marketing, technical and regulatory
  • build strong relations with key opinion leaders, key customers and distributors and explore collaborations that lead to new products, new markets or joint ventures.

Requirements

  • at least 10 years of experience in international B2B feed industry, farming, raw material or ingredient business with a sustainability value proposition
  • strong affinity with the aquaculture segment
  • a business degree and/or a scientific degree in Food Science, Aquaculture, Animal Science
