About the role
- Execute and continuously improve the social media strategy
- Ideate and publish content across all social channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
- Grow followers and engagement across social media to bring more people into the movement
- Handle community management across all platforms, monitoring conversations and engaging authentically with the community
- Proactively stay up to date with social media trends, algorithm changes, and industry best practices
- Collaborate with the creative team to ensure cohesive execution of content
- Ensure all social media content is aligned with brand guidelines and visual identity
- Champion Coral Gardeners' tone of voice and craft engaging copy for social media content
- Develop performance reports with recommendations to optimize content and strategy
Requirements
- Fluency in both English and French is mandatory.
- At least 3 years of proven work experience in social media.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Passion for social media, digital trends, and content creation.
- Excellent communication and copywriting skills in English.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, algorithms, and analytics tools.
- Knowledge of or passion for ocean conservation is a strong bonus.
