Attorney

• Perform a variety of clerical and administrative tasks in support of the Syndic's Office, the Committee on Unauthorized Practice, and the Admissions and Corporate Practice Committee;
• Perform case law research on various files as needed, excluding files originating from the Syndic's Office;
• Support the Legal Affairs Directorate in preparing public position statements;
• Support the Legal Affairs Directorate in member follow-up files;
• Contribute to maintaining the legal monitoring program to ensure ongoing legislative and regulatory watch;
• Collaborate with legal counsel on legal research, drafting contracts and memos, and amendments to the Order's regulatory framework;
• Participate in processing access-to-information requests;
• Coordinate the activities of the Admissions Committee;
• Process admission applications;
• Coordinate and process requests for authorization to practice within a corporation;
• Prepare certificates of registration on the Order's Register for the Discipline Council;
• Support the Secretary of the Professional Inspection Committee (meeting notices, drafting minutes);
• Format and lay out various documents related to regulation.
