The Virtual Executive Director leads Guidelight Health’s multi-state virtual programming with vision, operational excellence, and a focus on delivering an exceptional client experience.
This role ensures high-quality care, compliance with all regulations, and effective business performance across virtual Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP).
Oversee day-to-day operations across time zones, balancing clinical, operational, and administrative priorities and requirements.
Build and sustain a strong virtual team culture that emphasizes accountability, inclusivity, and collaboration.
Provide oversight and clinical supervision for all virtual program clinicians, ensuring adherence to Guidelight standards, treatment protocols, and best practices.
Ensure programs comply with federal, state, and payer requirements for virtual behavioral health delivery.

Requirements

Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
Must reside in and be willing to work Mountain Standard Time (MST).
Must hold an active license (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC) in CO with at least 3 years post-independent practice and be willing/able to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical virtual care management or program leadership.
Proven track record in visionary leadership, strategic planning, and adept team management.
Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Proficiency with virtual care platforms, EMR/CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong communication skills with ability to represent Guidelight to internal and external stakeholders.
