About the role

  • Lead Guidelight Health’s multi-state virtual IOP and PHP programs with vision and operational excellence.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across time zones, balancing clinical, operational, and administrative priorities.
  • Provide oversight and clinical supervision for all virtual program clinicians, including supervision, competency assessments, and performance evaluations.
  • Serve as escalation point for complex clinical cases and program-level clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure programs comply with federal, state, and payer requirements for virtual behavioral health delivery; partner with compliance to maintain documentation, licensure, and HIPAA standards.
  • Monitor program performance metrics (utilization, retention, client satisfaction, clinical outcomes) and support audits and accreditation preparation.
  • Partner with leadership on census and program growth targets, optimize workflows for scheduling/intake/client support, and collaborate with outreach/business development to drive referrals.
  • Recruit, train, onboard, and develop virtual program staff; foster a strong virtual team culture emphasizing accountability, inclusivity, and collaboration.
  • Serve as a visible representative for clients, referral partners, and regulatory stakeholders; promote client voice and cultural inclusivity in program design and delivery.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
  • Must reside in and be willing to work Pacific Standard Time (PST).
  • Must hold an active license (LICSW, LCSW, LMHC, LPC) in CA, WA, CO, MA, or NC with at least 3 years post-independent practice and be willing/able to obtain additional state licenses as needed.

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical virtual care management or program leadership.
  • Proven track record in visionary leadership, strategic planning, and adept team management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead distributed teams in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Proficiency with virtual care platforms, EMR/CRM systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to represent Guidelight to internal and external stakeholders.
