About the role
- Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies and plans tailored to the unique needs and opportunities in North America.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients.
- Drive revenue growth by formulating and executing strategies designed for upselling and expanding client portfolio.
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
- Develop and manage budgets related to business development activities, monitoring expenditures and tracking ROI.
- Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to track key performance metrics and business development activities.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and operations.
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Spanish (a plus)
- Proven experience (3+ years) in business development or sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets in the healthcare or biotechnology sectors (preferably IVF sector).
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, especially within the fertility and genomics field.
- Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks and compliance.
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree/MBA (preferred) in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
