About the role

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business development strategies and plans tailored to the unique needs and opportunities in North America.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities, partnerships, and clients.
  • Drive revenue growth by formulating and executing strategies designed for upselling and expanding client portfolio.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients.
  • Conduct thorough market research to understand market dynamics and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and manage budgets related to business development activities, monitoring expenditures and tracking ROI.
  • Establish and maintain reporting mechanisms to track key performance metrics and business development activities.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and operations.

Requirements

  • Fluent in English and Spanish (a plus)
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in business development or sales, with a track record of achieving or exceeding targets in the healthcare or biotechnology sectors (preferably IVF sector).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain client relationships, especially within the fertility and genomics field.
  • Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and other relevant tools.
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory frameworks and compliance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree/MBA (preferred) in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field
