About the role
- Architect and standardize L2/L3 networks, SD-WAN, Data Center (EVPN/VXLAN), campus networks and service outlets, ensuring connectivity, high availability, resilience, network security and microsegmentation.
- Lead high-complexity strategic projects at the Data Center level, including integrations, resilience and scalability initiatives.
- Act as level-4 support for critical incidents, performing advanced troubleshooting on protocols and equipment.
- Strengthen network security and governance by implementing Zero Trust practices, hardening and ensuring compliance with internal policies and Central Bank (Bacen) regulations.
- Automate processes and infrastructure as code (IaC) using appropriate tools and scripts.
- Monitor network capacity, performance and observability to ensure high availability and optimal user experience.
- Participate in RFPs, perform technical evaluations of proposals and manage contracts.
- Mentor analysts and conduct internal training to develop the team.
- Observability: DEM (ThousandEyes), NPM/NPMD, NetFlow/IPFIX, telemetry, packet capture.
- Manage multiple circuits, SLAs, redundancy and contingency.
- Advanced experience with switches, routers and firewalls; troubleshooting.
- Documentation and governance: HLD/LLD, standards, runbooks, change and risk management.
- Work with National Financial System (SFN) networks: manage financial network environments in accordance with Central Bank regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
- Cisco CCNP certification.
- DCACI certification (implementation/operations).
- Experience with protocols and routing: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF/ISIS, EVPN/VXLAN, MPLS, QoS, SIP/VoIP.
- Data Center and Multicloud: hybrid cloud integration (private/public/colocation), Cisco ACI/APIC, microsegmentation, L3–L7 security and load balancers.
- Network Security: NGFWs, NAC, Zero Trust, segmentation/microsegmentation.
- SD-WAN and SDN: design, implementation and operations; traffic policies and resilience.
- Automation/IaC: Ansible, Terraform, Python/PowerShell/Shell scripting (versioning and pipelines).
- Advanced English.
- Nice to have: CCIE certification; additional certifications such as Aruba ACS/ACM, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer; firewall vendor certifications; experience with observability tools (ThousandEyes, NPM/NPMD); experience in financial network environments.
