About the role
- Supervising, labor management, and planning of inbound, outbound, Product slotting and customer communication activities
- Conducting staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities
- Ensuring the development of systems and procedures for managing operations safely and profitably
- Managing operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
- Implementing and reporting on-going cost savings measures
- Providing direction and support to Human Resources
- Assisting in creating programs for hiring, training, and professional development
- Planning daily work schedule by reviewing existing work orders and assigning duties
- Training new staff in assigned duties
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- 3 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment
- 1 year experience in a supervisory role
- Prior MHE certification / knowledge of basic MHE operation (preferred)
- Satisfactory completion of a forklift training program
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point)
- Knowledge of RF Scanners and WMS functions
- English (reading, writing, verbal)
