About the role
- Maintains inventory accuracy and optimizes training opportunities
- Tracks key performance indicators (KPI) and metrics relating to quality and training requirements
- Coordinates and implements client cycle counts and development of goals
- Develops, maintains, and updates inventory control procedures
- Investigates inventory variances and conducts root cause analysis
- Oversees quality checks and out of scope projects
- Implements Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
- Manages Continuous Improvement/Lean projects and training
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Distribution/Logistics, Quality Management, or a related field
- Equivalent combination of education/training and experience will be considered
- Highly Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power Point)
- Prior inventory management and/or WMS experience preferred
- Ability to pass Material Handling Equipment training per OSHA and company requirements.
- English primary; bilingual preferred
- Communication skills: This manager must communicate information clearly and facilitate learning by diverse audiences
- Critical-thinking skills: Quality and Training managers use critical-thinking skills when assessing classes, materials, and programs.
