About the role
- Develop and maintain customer relationships via communication
- Negotiate with transportation carriers for rates and services
- Research growth opportunities and establish new customer leads
- Provide shipment tracking and ensure customer expectations are met
- Prepare reports and hold regular check-ins with customers
Requirements
- High School diploma
- 3 years’ experience in logistics, transportation brokerage, or related field
- Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Experience with transportation management systems
- Strong mathematical skills for pricing and negotiating
