About the role
- Independent, operational logistics management of one or more customer projects
- Functional and disciplinary leadership of up to approximately 70 operational and commercial employees (across multiple levels) in the warehousing and customer service functions
- Personnel planning, training and staff development within your area of responsibility
- Compliance with company-wide QSHE standards (Quality, Safety, Health, Environment) and the preparation of work and operating instructions
- Accountability for results in the customer areas under your management
- Ensuring adherence to customer-agreed service levels and internal KPIs
- Management of Sigma reporting
- Implementation of new customer projects and development of existing customer accounts
- Planning and conducting business review meetings
- Continuous, goal-oriented optimization of processes and technologies within your area of responsibility
- Costing and negotiation of service proposals
- Reporting to branch management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with a focus on Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration
- Alternatively, relevant vocational training with many years of experience in a similar role at a logistics service provider
- Deep understanding of warehouse operations and processes, warehouse management systems, and warehouse equipment
- Strong IT affinity and enthusiasm for new technologies
- Industry experience ideally from one or more of the following segments: Consumer Goods, E‑Commerce, Retail/Wholesale, Automotive, Healthcare, Industrial
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Goal-oriented with a customer- and solution-focused approach to thinking and acting
- Very good German and English language skills
- Turkish language skills, spoken and written, are a plus
- Strong user skills in MS Office (particularly Excel, PowerPoint) and the MS Power Platform including Power BI
- Lean Management or Six Sigma certification is a plus
