About the role

  • Identifying disruptions in the order or delivery process, resolving them where possible, and proactively informing clients about delays or changes;
  • Managing, checking, and securing the inbound and outbound order process, invoicing, and arranging transport with all necessary shipping documentation;
  • Handling complaints or claims and, if necessary, escalating them to relevant departments;
  • Working accurately, keeping an overview of the entire process, and closely collaborating with warehouse colleagues, external stakeholders, and other DSV divisions;
  • Primarily communicating via email and, together with a buddy, being responsible for various (international) clients.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of inbound and outbound customer service, preferably in a logistics environment.
  • Familiarity with shipping documentation, inventory management, and ideally some knowledge of customs procedures.
  • A cheerful, positive personality with strong prioritization skills.
  • Several years of experience in a similar role within customer service, customer care, or support is a plus.
  • Naturally customer-focused, strong communication skills, and fluent in English, Dutch is a plus.
