About the role
- Oversee HR functions and manage a team administering human resources transaction functions
- Manage employee relations, labor relations, and performance concerns
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and government contractor regulations
- Organize and manage company or government contract transition plans
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business strategy
- Administer employee training and development programs
- Provide back-up support to recruitment as needed
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field; degree may be substituted for two additional years’ human resources experience
- Five years’ Human Resources experience illustrating strong experience in two or more functional areas
- Two years’ supervisory experience
- Two years of government contract related experience
- PHR preferred
- Work experience with for-profit or Alaska Native Corporations strongly preferred
- Ability to pass a background screening
