About the role

  • Oversee HR functions and manage a team administering human resources transaction functions
  • Manage employee relations, labor relations, and performance concerns
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and government contractor regulations
  • Organize and manage company or government contract transition plans
  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with overall business strategy
  • Administer employee training and development programs
  • Provide back-up support to recruitment as needed
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or other related field; degree may be substituted for two additional years’ human resources experience
  • Five years’ Human Resources experience illustrating strong experience in two or more functional areas
  • Two years’ supervisory experience
  • Two years of government contract related experience
  • PHR preferred
  • Work experience with for-profit or Alaska Native Corporations strongly preferred
  • Ability to pass a background screening
