About the role

  • Write and revise content for marketing and communications materials that align with our brand, culture, values, and policies.
  • Use Cook voice and tone, follow Cook copy style guide, and ensure error-free.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to identify content goals and key points, writing concise copy consistent with the brand.
  • Research topics to convey information clearly to audiences with different levels of understanding, including product, technical, procedural content, and company or brand promotion.
  • Proactively seek out subject matter experts and information to improve the quality of the material.
  • Work closely with writers, designers, and other agency team members to ensure brand alignment across all channels, connect projects, and repurpose content.
  • Manage time and work volume to ensure efficiencies while maintaining quality.
  • Use designated project management tools to document versions, progress, and approval of projects.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming, consultations, and other collaborative interactions.
  • Ensure that all quality, regulatory, and product-specific requirements are met within scope of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism or a writing related field highly desirable.
  • Proficient in English.
  • Fluency in French (native or bilingual proficiency preferred); ability to adapt and localize English messaging for French-speaking audiences.
  • Experience writing, editing, and proofreading in French, with strong editorial skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of cultural nuances and ability to trans create content for local relevance.
  • Familiarity with European marketing standards like the European Union Medical Device Regulation (EU-MDR), French compliance and French Charter, and country-specific requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate remotely across time zones and work within CET-compatible hours.
  • Proven experience in copywriting, ideally in marketing, communications, or eCommerce.
  • Portfolio of work demonstrating creative skills and adaptability.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and digital campaigns.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills are important.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities.
  • Experience with Adobe Workfront a plus, but not required.
