About the role
- Design and implement a scalable sales process, including lead generation, pipeline management, and forecasting.
- Identify and penetrate new market segments within the insurance industry (Carriers, MGAs, or Brokers).
- Navigate long-cycle, high-stakes negotiations with Tier-1 and Tier-2 insurance carriers.
- Leverage your deep Property & Casualty and Underwriting knowledge to act as a credible consultant to C-suite insurance executives.
- Work closely with Product and Engineering to ensure our roadmap aligns with market demands and 'solves for the buyer.'
- Establish Key Performance Indicators and utilize tech stack to provide transparent reporting on sales velocity and CAC/LTV ratios.
Requirements
- At least 10+ years of experience in sales leadership, with a significant portion dedicated to B2B SaaS or Fintech/Insurtech.
- Deep Insurance Roots: You must speak the language of P&C insurance.
- Tech-Savvy Mindset: You don't need to code, but you must be comfortable with modern SaaS stacks.
- A Technical Seller: You have a high-level understanding of Enterprise tech (AI, Data Science, API-first platforms).
- The 'Startup Spark': You thrive in ambiguity.
- Proven Track Record: Experience growing a small company or a new business unit into a major market player.
- Direct experience in B2B marketing strategy, brand positioning, and demand generation.
- Must be fluent in English.
