Map and categorize data against business elements and user needs.
Develop data visualization and reporting methods such as graphs, dashboards, and reports.
Build and maintain reports, models, and dashboards around key metrics to monitor and improve performance.
Continuously monitor standardized metrics and provide timely and accurate insight on company performance and identified variances.
Translate complex data questions into meaningful insights for non-technical stakeholders.
Produce and present results of analyses, highlighting strategic implications and recommendations for senior management.
Effectively communicate methodologies and nuances of analyses and implications on key takeaways.
Act as a reliable decision-making support resource for the organization, building custom queries to answer business questions.
Collaborate as part of a cross-disciplinary team to supplement existing business intelligence functionality and create data visualizations that enhance executive insight on performance.
Perform routine and ad hoc reporting and analyses.
Identify solutions to ad hoc requests and problems.
Maintain data integrity across multiple data sources/databases.

Requirements

1+ year of professional experience with a focus on data and business analysis is required.
3-5+ years of professional experience in healthcare with a focus on data and business analysis is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred.
Strong experience with and knowledge of relational databases (Any SQL required, MySQL preferred).
Experience with building and maintaining data visualizations (Tableau preferred).
Substantial experience with Microsoft Excel is required.
Experience working with and analyzing healthcare data (e.g., eligibility, claims) is strongly preferred.
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to use data to tell a story.
Understanding of fundamental statistical concepts.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Able to work with minimal guidance, seeking guidance on only the most complex tasks.
