About the role
- Own and define the Public Safety market strategy, including target sub-verticals, customer segments, solution focus, and partner ecosystem.
- Develop multi-year roadmaps aligned to Convergint’s growth objectives and investment priorities
- Lead, coach, and develop Vertical Market Managers; establish operating rhythms and performance expectations.
- Act as the senior leader and subject matter authority for the Public Safety vertical with customers, partners, and industry associations.
- Align Sales, Service Operations, Enablement, Marketing, Finance, and CTC leadership around the Public Safety vertical strategy.
- Guide differentiated solution and bundle development that addresses critical customer outcomes.
- Support high-impact, complex opportunities through executive-level engagement and strategic deal guidance.
- Define and track vertical-level KPIs including revenue growth, margin, pipeline health, wallet share, and market expansion.
- Provide regular executive updates on vertical performance, risks, and opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- Business, technology, engineering, or vertically relevant field preferred.
- 10+ years in technology, security, or vertically aligned industries.
- 5+ years in senior leadership roles with responsibility for strategy, revenue growth, and people leadership.
- Proven success building and scaling Public Safety market strategies across distributed sales organizations.
