About the role
- Be the driver who accelerates growth with the largest and most complex utilities customers.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase market penetration of enterprise utilities security solutions, products & services.
- Work closely with other teams to optimize solution offerings and operations to improve the customer experience and Convergint profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with utilities organizations on a defined target list.
- Maintain decision maker relationships with key customers while developing and executing strategic growth plans.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Physical Security (PhySec) technologies.
- Drive high level relationships with key customer contacts.
- Establish and renew key customer contracts and agreements.
- Provide leadership in coaching colleagues and ensuring adherence to strategy and contracts.
- Regularly meet with leaders to review progress toward growth goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 8+ years in sales.
- Proven track record of selling complex solutions to enterprise level customers – ideally large utilities customers.
- Experience in the security & integration business
