About the role

  • Be the driver who accelerates growth with the largest and most complex utilities customers.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase market penetration of enterprise utilities security solutions, products & services.
  • Work closely with other teams to optimize solution offerings and operations to improve the customer experience and Convergint profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities and partnerships with utilities organizations on a defined target list.
  • Maintain decision maker relationships with key customers while developing and executing strategic growth plans.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of Physical Security (PhySec) technologies.
  • Drive high level relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Establish and renew key customer contracts and agreements.
  • Provide leadership in coaching colleagues and ensuring adherence to strategy and contracts.
  • Regularly meet with leaders to review progress toward growth goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • 8+ years in sales.
  • Proven track record of selling complex solutions to enterprise level customers – ideally large utilities customers.
  • Experience in the security & integration business
