About the role
- Define and own the global KYC strategy aligned to enterprise risk appetite and growth goals.
- Drive transformation initiatives including automation, AI-driven screening, and data analytics.
- Establish policies, governance frameworks, and operating standards.
- Work in lockstep with Compliance to interpret regulatory changes and translate them into operational policies and controls.
- Collaborate with Product leadership to design frictionless onboarding experiences that meet KYC standards without compromising customer experience.
- Provide executive oversight of KYC operations across regions.
- Manage and refine KPIs, SLAs, quality metrics, and reporting.
- Act as a senior decision-maker for complex, high-risk escalations and regulatory matters.
Requirements
- Extensive & progressive experience in KYC/AML/Financial Crime within banking, fintech, or payments.
- Good understanding and application of relevant Global AML regulation and legislation.
- Proven enterprise leadership and multi-region operational experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail with commitment to quality
- Proven ability to manage service levels to targets, projects and deliverables to completion.
- Strong transformation experience: automation, data analytics, and digital onboarding.
