About the role

  • Responsible for sales and margin targets for defined customers in the trade / homecare sector
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships with specialist retailers, homecare companies and other professional wound care providers
  • Business development — acquire new customers, expand new sales channels (especially online retail) and explore strategic partnerships
  • Negotiate framework agreements, listings and commercial terms together with company management / purchasing of trading partners
  • Create customer development plans and ensure achievement of their targets
  • Conduct strategic annual meetings with managing directors in the trade sector
  • Deliver presentations to customers and at internal meetings
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses and derive actions to increase market penetration
  • Further develop strategies and activities in the trade channel
  • Collaborate with Marketing on customer activities, product launches and portfolio optimization
  • Work closely with Market Access and reimbursement/payer management

Requirements

  • Several years of proven and successful experience in Key Account Management, ideally in the trade of medical devices
  • Strong negotiation skills and excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Strategic thinking and conceptual skills
  • Extensive experience in negotiations and good contacts with managing directors
  • Sound knowledge of the German healthcare system (e.g. reimbursement)
  • Very good understanding of business and financial contexts
  • Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
  • High willingness to travel and stay overnight
