About the role
- Disciplinary and functional leadership of the sales team, including responsibility for results
- Achievement of agreed sales volume, revenue and contribution margin targets
- Further development of the sales team in line with ongoing transformations
- Development and implementation of new sales strategies and related measures, including conducting market analyses
- Identifying and evaluating customer potential to meet business objectives and to open up new markets
- Close collaboration with senior management to ensure growth within the area of responsibility and to achieve company goals
- Acquisition and support in the management of major and new customers across all areas, as well as the development of new business fields
- Ensuring the sales team’s know-how to carry out and continuously improve business operations
- Ensuring a performance-oriented pricing policy
Requirements
- Completed degree in business administration or a technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Several years of sales experience with demonstrable success
- Industry knowledge in the automotive or tire industry is an advantage
- Experience in project and process management desirable
- Extensive leadership experience and strong leadership competencies
- Excellent command of German and English, both written and spoken
