About the role
- Oversee and coordinate the activities of technicians involved in setup, installation, repair, and maintenance of vending machines, micro-markets, and office coffee machines
- Supervise the Maintenance and Installation Department, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and discipline
- Direct workers in electrical, electronic, and mechanical maintenance and repair of machines
- Assist with diagnosing malfunctions and interpreting schematics
- Manage assembly, retrofitting, upgrading, and installation of vending machines and related environments
- Communicate with clients on specifications, power requirements, issues, and schedules
- Maintain inventory of spare parts within budget guidelines
- Estimate worker hour requirements and adjust work procedures for efficiency
- Enforce safety regulations and ensure a clean, safe work environment
- Collaborate with other supervisors to coordinate activities
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Two-year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certification to service refrigeration components preferred
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
